THE chief financial officer of Glasgow Prestwick Airport is stepping down after more than five years in the role.

Grant McLeod was part of the team which negotiated the site's sale to the Scottish Government in 2013.

He said: "I've enjoyed my time at Prestwick Airport but I believe it is now the right time for me to move on and focus on new opportunities."

The accountant had previously held roles at Direct Holidays, IBM and Kshocolat.
