NORTH Sea veteran Bob Keiller is to retire from the board of Wood Group at the end of this year, the Aberdeen-based oil services company has announced.
He will be succeeded by Robin Watson, who has been on Wood Group’s board since 2013, initially as chief executive officer of Wood Group PSN and, since April this year, as chief operating officer.
Wood Group described the succession as a “natural evolution in the group’s leadership”.
Chairman Ian Marchant said of Mr Keiller: “The group has made significant progress under Bob’s leadership and the board respects his decision to stand down at this time.”
