LAW firm MacRoberts has hired four new partners from DWF to boost its real estate.

projects and construction practices.

The addition of Neil Amner, Robin Corbett, Martin Sales and Martin Gallaher takes the number of partners to 49, the highest in the firm's history.

MacRoberts said that it is in the process of hiring a further eight to 10 solicitors to support the new partners.

Mr Amner was head of construction, infrastructure and projects at DWF and deputy president of Glasgow Chamber of Commerce.

Mr Gallaher is an experienced transport and infrastructure lawyer who was recently part of the team that advised Transport Scotland on the procurement and award of the Scotrail franchise.

Mr Corbett works in commercial real estate and was head of DWF's education group in Scotland.

Mr Sales was head of wind power at DWF and has expertise in planning for onshore wind farms, marine and cultural heritage.
