David MacFarlane, the former Dana Petroleum and Wood Group executive, has been appointed a non-executive at Circle Oil.
Mr MacFarlane, 57, was financial director at Dana during eight years of rapid growth from 2002 until its 2010 sale to KNOC. He was previously commercial and financial director for Wood Group subsidiary JP Kenny Engineering. He is already a director at AIM-listed Trinity Exploration & Production. Circle has also appointed Antony Maris, chief operating officer at Soco International, to the board.
