Alliance Trust has said Win Robbins has resigned as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
Karin Forseke, chairman, said Ms Robbins, appointed to the £47,000 a year role in February 2013, had made "a significant contribution to the business during an important period of growth". Ms Robbins is a fixed income specialist who held senior roles at Barclays, Credit Suisse and Citigroup. The seven-strong Alliance board now has three women including the chairman and chief executive.
