Arran flying high
WHILE washing the car or mowing the lawn is the limit of Sunday exertion for many of us, Arran brewery boss Gerald Michaluk is a little more daring with his weekend pursuits.
Mr Michaluk was at Prestwick turning over the engine in the "little aeroplane" his family owns when The Bottom Line rang to discuss the brewer's latest results.
With profits at Arran Brewery up 30% and turnover 15% ahead of last year, Mr Michaluk would appear to be flying high in more than one respect.
