CHERYL Gillan, MP for Chesham and Amersham, suffered disappointment yesterday when her dog Curby failed to become the top parliamentary pooch.
Curby, a Lhasa Apso bitch, was unplaced in the Westminster Dog of the Year contest, against pets owned by four Labour MPs, three Conservatives and two peers. The aim was to find the most loveable dog with the most character.
