ENGINEERING company Score Group has bought the site of the former Peterhead Prison from the Scottish Prison Service.
It plans to grow its training operations there, as well as using the premises as a secure storage facility that is likely to create up to 50 jobs over the next three years.
Score said it currently employs more than 300 people in the 16-to-24 age bracket in apprenticeships or other training schemes across a wide range of disciplines at its sites around the world.
