THOMSON owner Tui has recorded a solid increase in revenues and profits as it booked strong demand from UK holidaymakers.
The group was able to offset declining bookings to terror hit Tunisia and Egypt, with consumers opting instead for destinations such as Spain, Bulgaria and Croatia. Revenue rose 1.4 per cent to €17.52bn and earnings rose 13 per cent to €898m.
