Haulage business West of Scotland Heavy Haulage has been placed in administration and ceased trading with the loss of 21 jobs.
Tom MacLennan and Iain Fraser, partners with FRP Advisor were appointed joint administrators.
Founded in 1946 and based in Cumbernauld, West of Scotland Heavy Haulage operated one of the largest fleets of specialist heavy haulage trucks, trailers and low loaders in Scotland.
The company, which turned over around £11m, had become one of the leading specialist wind turbine haulage businesses in the country.
