SALMON farming business Loch Duart has renewed its feed supply contract with aqua feed company EWOS in what is understood to be a multi-million pound deal.

Loch Duart, which is based in Sutherland and the Hebrides, declared that the three-year salmon feed deal will maintain its reputation for providing tasty fish fed on a sustainable and ethically-sourced diet. It said its feed mimics the diet of wild salmon as closely as possible.

Managing director Alban Denton noted: “Two key parts of our success are great taste and our commitment to sustainability. High quality feed from sustainable sources is ‘a given’. We seek so much more from our partners and EWOS are providing that.”
