Develop Training Limited (DTL), a national training provider to the utilities sector, has won a new contract from Skills Development Scotland to deliver Modern Apprenticeships.
DTL already provides programmes for SGN and Scottish Water at its Linlithgow training centre.
The new round of funding will cover at least 45 new apprenticeship places, and the number could grow if there is enough demand from employers and candidates.
Chris Wood, chief executive of DTL, said: "Winning this contract will enable us to deliver more apprenticeships for new customers, and extend our role in helping to tackle the industry’s chronic skills shortage.”
