THE Agenda contribution by Dave Moxham about the dangers posed to democracy by the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) is one of the very few expositions I have seen on this proposal ("The people will ensure this is one trade deal not passed on the nod", The Herald, April 11).

Strangely, the politicians have said little about it; politicians will largely be redundant if the proposals go through, as policy will be dictated by large corporations, regardless of matters such as health and safety or care for the environment.

Anyone who gets a candidate at their door should ask about TTIP.
