Karl Lagerfeld’s 2012-13 Métiers d'Art Paris-Edimbourg collection was inspired by Mary Queen of Scots and featured a take on Scottish heritage, with tartan, tweed, lace ruffs and sporrans.
"Tilda perfectly embodies the Paris-Edimbourg collection. She is of course Scottish, but more than that she is a modern woman, a timeless icon of elegance," said Lagerfeld, creative director of Chanel.
