Bowie fashion will wow in retrospective

Ziggy Stardust’s jumpsuit and the original artwork for a Union Jack coat designed by Alexander McQueen are just a couple of the items going on display at a David Bowie exhibition held by the Victoria and Albert museum next spring.

The V&A has been given unprecedented access to the David Bowie Archive to curate the first international retrospective of the extensive career of David Bowie. The exhibition, called David Bowie Is, will feature more than 300 objects that include handwritten lyrics, original costumes, fashion, photography, film, music videos, set designs and Bowie's own instruments.
