Madonna: Queen of Pop brings her style to Scotland

Madonna played her first gig in Scotland on Saturday, illustrating her music with the anticipated dramatic range of costumes.

From black leather outfits to fit dark imagery on screen, to a cheery cheerleader costume accompanying more up-beat numbers, with each act the 53-year-old superstar demonstrated why she has come to be known as much for her 'material' as her music.

Though Madonna has visited Scotland before, including in 2000 for her wedding at Skibo Castle in Sutherland, this concert, part of her MDNA world tour, was her first performance here.
