With the Christmas party season in full swing, fashion fans were treated to a festive celebration of the Little Black Dress at Glasgow's 29 Private Members Club.

The high profile event organised by Scottish Style Awards founder Mary McGowne, and presented in association with Chambord, was a celebration of the most glamorous and iconic of fashion staples.

Hosted by STV's Laura Boyd, with special guest Frank McGivern - the charismatic 'Mr Chambord' flying in especially - guests watched a stunning runway show, which was also broadcast live on KILTR, featuring interpretations of the little black dress from Karen Millen, Reiss, Jigsaw, John Lewis, Ted Baker, Wish, L.K.Bennett, Lipsy, M&Co and Quiz.  In keeping with the season of goodwill, a few lucky fashionistas won stylish raffle prizes including an entire straight-off-the-catwalk look from Karen Millen, gorgeous L.K.Bennett handbag and 29 membership.

Commenting on the show, Mary McGowne said "The Little Black Dress is the ultimate style icon and this year's show once again was the most glamorous festive fashion celebration. From red carpet showstoppers to the hottest celebrity looks, runway must haves to high street heaven, guests enjoyed a spectacular treat."
