Sunday's glittering BAFTA Scotland awards brought together the best of the country's screen talent - and we hear back-stage the best of Scottish produce also made an appearance in the form of delicious whisky cocktails, which will inspire this week's DIY drink.
An awards ceremony calls for the stuff of classic movies, so you'll need a classic drink in hand to match - the Whisky Amaretto. You don't need Tom Cruise's style bar skills to make this cocktail, all that's required are two high quality ingredients.
Just pour a measure of whisky and add a shot of Amaretto to sweeten things up. Throw in an ice cube, swirl the liquids to blend together and raise your glass to another delicious drink. It's that simple.
Ingredients
1oz of whisky
1oz of amaretto
Preparation
1 Pour both ingredients into a short glass.
2 Add ice cube.
