With the weather turning and the shops slowly but surely filling up with gruesome masks and witches hats, it's time to celebrate the harvest of autumn - and a pumpkin martini is the perfect way to add an autumnal twist to your weekend tipple.
You'll need to get your hands on some pumpkin liqueur (or alternatively a pumpkin flavoured syrup), but you won't regret the search.
With vanilla vodka and cream liqueur, this drink is best served to those with a sweet tooth at cocktail hour - and it's so delicious they will no doubt ask for seconds.
Add some cream and a cinnamon stick and guests at your Halloween party are sure to be impressed!
Ingredients
1/2 oz of cream liqueur
2 oz of vanilla vodka
½ oz of pumpkin liqueur or pumpkin syrup
Whipped cream
Cinnamon stick
Preparation
1 Mix cream liqueur and vodka in a cocktail shaker before adding pumpkin liqueur.
2 Shake again and pour into a martini glass.
3 Top with whipped cream and a cinnamon stick.
