This tipple will have you feeling Forever Young with a splash of cherry liqueur to take you back to your teens - but a whisky soaked cherry lends a grown up touch to the traditional cocktail garnish.
With two shots of whisky, the Scottish theme is still going strong after last week's Flying Scotsman but half a shot of almond liqueur gives the drink a flavour reminiscent of a Cherry Bakewell.
Serve up in a martini glass and you'll be left with a drink that's strong and cheeky - rather like Rod himself.
Ingredients
2 oz of whisky
½ oz of cherry liqueur
½ oz of almond liqueur
Preparation
1 Pour over ice into a chilled martini glass
