This "West End institution" offers a "great selection of pastas". Sharon M loves that you can pick up "one of the pre-made pastas, which are available hot or cold for heating up at home". Sauces include traditional Bolognese, Napoli and carbonara.

The "chicken and mushroom pasta" comes with just the right amount of "brandy cream and garlic sauce" to make it "delicious" without drowning it, raves Kirsten B.

Andrew C says "this is modern Italian - it is obvious that the owner loves good Italian food and drinks". Nduja is a new food trend and you can try it in a pasta sauce here. It's a fiery spreadable sausage, served with olives and olive oil. Gluten free pasta is also available.

This "authentic and cosy" spot has "an incredibly reasonable lunch set menu", according to Terri B. "The spaghetti carbonara was good," she adds. "The pasta had a lovely bite, the pancetta was very nice and plenty of it."

"The style of food is based on an ancient Roman "Pit Stop" from when Centurions would be travelling cross country. So the food is hearty but in small portions!"
