An exhibition of Glasgow Boy paintings by those artists central to the group and others inspired by them will go on show at The Fine Art Society in Edinburgh from October 2.
Included in the show is a recently discovered oil on canvas by WY MacGregor, Harvest Moon, painted in 1882 near Dunottar on the east coast.
Painters such as EA Walton, James Guthrie, Arthur Melville, Joseph Crawhall, John Lavery and EA Hornel will also be present in the show.
The show runs concurrently with the Scottish National Gallery's exhibition, Arthur Melville: Adventure in Colour which The Fine Art Society is supporting.
Exhibition runs October 2 to November 14.

Mississippi-born singer-songwriter Steve Forbert plays three Scottish dates on his latest UK tour. Forbert, who released his first album, Alive on Arrival, in 1978 and went on to be inducted into the Mississippi Hall of Fame in 2006 for his enduring songcraft and tireless commitment to the troubadour lifestyle, has had his songs covered by artists including Rosanne Cash, Keith Urban, and Marty Stuart and made a cameo appearance in the video for Cyndi Lauper's hit Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, playing Lauper’s boyfriend. He plays Saint Andrew’s in the Square, Glasgow on Wednesday, September 23; Inchyra Arts Club, near Perth (24th); and Pleasance Theatre, Edinburgh (25th).

Leith Folk Club has announced its autumn programme beginning with Highlands and Islands quartet Meantime on September 1. London-based alt-bluegrass band the Coal Porters follow on September 8 with fiddler Adam Sutherland and pianist Hamish Napier’s spontaneous tunes and songs presentation, Nae Plans, veteran singer-guitarists Julie Felix and Archie Fisher, Irish singer-songwriter Fil Campbell, and Scots-Irish-Eastern European band Dallahan all due before Christmas. The club meets every Tuesday in Victoria Park House Hotel in Ferry Road at 8pm.

Lesley Burr, Fiona MacRae and Sian MacQueen are artists who all live and work in Argyll and have a new show at a gallery in Glasgow.
The exhibition at the Leiper Gallery brings the three artists together for the very first time with a range of works inspired by life on the West Coast. The exhibition will include still lifes, landscapes and a variety of other works and runs from September 3 to 27.
