Tell us about your Fringe show

Gruesome Playground Injuries is a funny, dark love story about why we hurt ourselves for love.

How does it feel to be playing the Fringe for the first time?

Couldn’t be more excited – I’ve heard about the festival for 15 years and always wanted to go.

Best live act seen at Fringe?

This is my first Fringe!

Best thing about the Fringe?

Community, meeting new theatre professionals, and seeing shows.

Worst thing about the Fringe?

No clue yet.

If you were not a performer what would you be doing?

Teaching acting.

What do your family think of your show?

They love the playwright, Rajiv Joseph. They’ve seen almost all of his plays - but this is their favourite.

How do you combat pre-show nerves?

Focus on the moment at hand; the moment before the show starts.

Worst on stage experience?

Being left off stage with lights up – an entrance was missed to start the show for about 30 seconds.

What do you love about Scotland?

Don’t know yet, but my family has lineage here; the Sinclair clan.

What do you like about Edinburgh?

Don’t know yet.

What’s the most Scottish thing you’ve done?

Grown a red beard.

Who’s your favourite Scottish performer?

Billy Connolly.
