Actor saddles up for storytelling marathon
ACTOR Tam Dean Burn has set off on his Marathon Storytelling Cycle Challenge.
The River City, Taggart and stage star left Kelvin Meadow in Glasgow yesterday and will now attempt to read all 195 of Julia Donaldson's books, plays and poems to children and sing all of her songs, travelling as much as possible by bicycle, visiting every local authority in Scotland before returning to Glasgow. Burn's journey around Scotland will follow the route of the Queen's Baton Relay and all readings are free.
