THE world's first Robot Olympics will take place this September in
Glasgow. More than 50 robots from throughout the world are expected to
take part in the event organised by Strathclyde University. The
Massachussetts Institute of Technology is sending a robot which swims,
the Japanese are sending one which skis, and other establishments are
sending machines which run and walk.
