SCOTTISH band Texas will headline the millennium Hogmanay concert at Edinburgh Castle, it was confirmed yesterday.
The Glasgow band will donate their six-figure fee to the Children's Hospice Association Scotland, which manages Rachel House in Kinross.
Texas will be supported by Martyn Bennett's Gaelic house music band Cuillin at the festive event, which will take place on the castle esplanade on December 31.
Tickets for the New Year's concert, which will kick off at 7.30pm, cost #27.50, plus a booking fee, and will be available at a number of outlets in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
