MORE than 100 complaints have been made to the TV regulator Ofcom over an ITV programme that saw the Prime Minister confronted with a list of alleged paedophiles.

ITV presenter Philip Schofield handed David Cameron the note, containing what is thought to be the names of members of the Conservative party, live on air on Thursday.

The list had been compiled from names circulating on the internet.

Rob Wilson, a Conservative MP, reported the ITV1 programme to Ofcom and the broadcasting regulator is understood to have now received around 100 more complaints from the public.

An Ofcom spokesman said: "No decision has been made at this stage to investigate.''
