LIVER transplant patient Jenny Campbell's life was transformed when she received her much-needed organ transplant three months ago.

The mother-of-two, from Ayrshire, was diagnosed with cryptogenic cirrhosis in 2002 after the birth of her first child.

Mrs Campbell, 39, has now joined 500 patients, relatives and staff to mark the 20th anniversary of liver transplant operations at the Scottish Liver Transplant Unit at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, where 1089 transplants have been carried out since November 1992.
