An old-fashioned rag and bone man, along with his trusty Clydesdale horse Alfie, has been touring Glasgow schools and community centres as part of a theatre project examining the city's industrial heritage.

The Tin Forest, a large-scale Culture 2014 project devised by the National Theatre of Scotland, invites the people of Glasgow to retell the story of the city's past and make wishes and promises for its creative future.

The stories, wishes or forgotten objects that people bring along, will all become part of The Tin Forest performances, taking place in June 2014.
