SERBIANS will head to the voting stations today for the second time in under two years, with opinion polls predicting a win for the centre-right Progressive Party.

Given the turmoil of the long-term party of government, the Democratic Party, it could be the first time in the country's short democratic history that one party will take an overall majority.

Progressive Party leader Aleksandar Vucic, a former close aide to Slobodan Milosevic, has risen to popularity mainly on the back of a much-publicised fight against crime and corruption.
