DOZENS of people have marched through Inverness in protest against the deaths of 19 birds of prey in Ross-shire.
Nineteen white cut-outs of birds dubbed "ghost raptors" were displayed during the event yesterday.
Since mid-March, 14 red kites and five buzzards have been found dead of suspected poisoning at Conon Bridge, near Dingwall.

Vice-president of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, Sir John Lister-Kaye, who attended the rally, said: "This incident is an outrage and the public are right to be angry.
"Poisoning is unacceptable and we call on the Scottish Government and the police to stamp it out."
