A DOG that shot to fame on Britain's Got Talent has predicted the dogged determination of Argentina's Lionel Messi & Co will shine through in the World Cup final against Germany.
Pudsey, who became a household name after entertaining millions of TV viewers with his owner Ashleigh Butler, has given Argentina's opponents Germany paws for thought after they demolished Brazil 7-1 in the semi-finals.
He visited the Herald & Times in Glasgow with Ms Butler for a light-hearted stab at the possible winner yesterday. Shown pictures of the rival teams, Pudsey put a paw on the Argentine squad three times in succession.

The border collie, bichon frise and Chinese crested powderpuff cross, later made a special appearance on the red carpet at the Glasgow premiere of his debut movie Pudsey The Dog: The Movie.
Ms Butler, 19, admitted she had given up on the World Cup after England were knocked out, but added: "I might just go and put a bet on now."
A record £40million is being wagered in the UK on the result of Sunday's final at Rio de Janeiro's famous Maracana Stadium.
Bookmaker William Hill has beaten its own £200m record for betting on the tournament. It is double the figure achieved by rivals William Hill during the 2010 South Africa World Cup.
England's group game with Uruguay last month was the biggest World Cup match for William Hill with more than £5.5m wagered.
