ORAN Mor in Glasgow's West End was the venue for the dinner and ceilidh following the Beatson Institute International Cancer Conference.
It offered a very Scottish welcome to international delegates with haggis on the menu and the services of a ceremonial piper.
The Beatson Institute carries out a programme of world-class science directed at understanding key aspects of cancer cell behaviour.
