A female asylum seeker from Sierra Leone has been quarantined at a Lanarkshire hospital while she is tested for the deadly Ebola virus.
It is understood that the woman fell ill on Thursday, shortly after arriving at Dungavel detention centre in Lanarkshire.

She is being treated in isolation at Monklands ~Hospital although the health board stressed it is "highly unlikely" that the woman, in her 30s, will test positive for Ebola.
A spokeswoman for NHS Lanarkshire said: "We are currently investigating a possible case of Viral Haemorrhagic Fever (Ebola).
"This is a precautionary measure and it would appear at this stage to be highly unlikely the patient will test positive for Ebola."
