Two arrested over Kelso 'assault and robbery'
TWO men have been arrested in connection with an alleged assault and robbery at at shop in Kelso.
Police said two men, aged 53 and 36, were arrested after the incident in Bowmont Street, on Monday October 5.
Two women were allegedly assaulted during the incident.
The 53-year-old will appear at Jedburgh Sheriff Court later today.
Police said the 36-year-old will appear at court on a later date.
A spokesman added: "Inquires are ongoing to trace a third man in connection with the incident."
