First Minister Nicola Sturgeon will pick her Desert Island Discs with Kirsty Young
Nicola Sturgeon is to be appear on Desert Island Discs.
The First Minister will pick her eight castaway records on Sunday, November 15.
The BBC Radio 4 programme has a long history of featuring political guests, most recently Theresa May in 2014 and Ed Miliband in 2013.
Previous party leaders despatched to the desert island include Margaret Thatcher, Tony Blair, David Cameron, Alex Salmond and Charles Kennedy.
