Scots have been told to brace themselves for storm Gertrude as the Met Office issues severe weather warnings for snow, ice, rain and strong winds.
Heavy rain are expected to hit Scotland later today, with strong winds, ice and snow following tomorrow.
The storm is expected to bring gusts of up to 80mph.

Amber 'be prepared' warnings for winds have been issued from 3am until 10am tomorrow for the Highlands & the Western Isles, Grampian, Strathclyde, Central, Tayside & Fife, and Dumfries, Galloway, Lothian & Borders.
The Met Office has issued also yellow 'be aware' warnings for rain, snow and ice for these areas.

The warning for up to 60mm of rain is valid from 2pm today.
Severe weather warnings for ice and snow are in place from 9pm on Friday until 3pm on Saturday.
The Met Office said the storm is likely to bring travel disruptions and cause power cuts in some areas.
