MAJOR disruption has hit rail services this morning following a fatality on the line at Dalmeny.
Services between Edinburgh and Kirkcaldy will be delayed or cancelled until around 10.30am, similarly trains between Edinburgh and Glenrothes.

Rail routes from Edinburgh to Aberdeen, Dundee and Inverness are also affected by the disruption.

Borders railway is also reporting severe disruption due to the incident at Dalmeny.
It is understood services are now beginning to return to normal.
