Relatives of a man missing for more than three weeks have said they remain hopeful he will be found - as they pleaded with him directly to make contact.
Jason Gates's family told him: "We just want you to be safe and to be reunited as a family."
The 36-year-old, from the Portsmouth area of Hampshire, was last seen in Drumnadrochit, near Loch Ness in the Highlands, on Monday March 14.
He was reported missing three days later, sparking a series of searches to try and locate him.
His relatives have expressed their gratitude to the members of the emergency services and search-and-rescue personnel who are continuing the search for Mr Gates.
In a statement released via Police Scotland, they said: "It's been over three weeks since we've heard from Jason and we are increasingly anxious.
"We'd also like to appeal to Jason directly: if you can see this message, please make contact so we know you're okay. We just want you to be safe and to be reunited as a family.
"As the search continues, we remain hopeful Jason will be found and reiterate our thanks to everyone involved in the search.
"Any information, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem, may assist in bringing Jason back to us and so we would urge anyone who can help to get in touch."
They also thanked those who have shared the appeal for information over social media.
Mr Gates is described as being 6ft 3ins, slim, with short cropped greying hair and stubble.
It is not known what clothes he was wearing when he went missing. It is thought he often wears black jeans, a T-shirt, a black padded jacket or tweed jacket, and possibly walking boots. He may also have a rucksack.
Inspector Ian Graham said: "Officers are continuing to search the area where Jason was last seen and would appeal to anyone undertaking outdoor activities to keep an eye out for anything that may help us trace Jason.
"It's been over three weeks since Jason was seen and it goes without saying we are very concerned for his welfare.
"This week we have officers and police dogs carrying out detailed searches around Drumnadrochit area and would continue to appeal to local residents in particular to check outbuildings and sheds in case Jason has sought shelter."
Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101.
