JUDY MURRAY, Carlos Moya and Toni Nadal have spread warmth among chilly Wimbledon queuers, handing out coffee to surprised tennis fans.

They took to the Lavazza stand - tantalisingly close to the front of the queue - and handed out drinks to people who had been waiting for hours to get into the tournament.

The day after son Andy's first-round victory, Ms Murray smiled and handed out small cups to excited fans who stopped to take pictures.

She joked with one woman who had her hands full with glasses of champagne: "It's good to start early."

She was joined by Mr Nadal - Rafael Nadal's uncle and coach - and former world number one Carlos Moya.
