THE families of two young men who went missing from Glenrothes in Fife have renewed their appeals for information on the anniversary of the disappearances.

Kenneth Jones and Allan Bryant, who are both from the town, went missing on 3 November 15 years apart.

Kenneth Jones was last seen leaving home at around 7am on 3rd November 1998. He was 18 years old at the time and Thursday will mark the 18th anniversary of his disappearance.

“I miss him,” said Kenneth’s mother Mary Ann Jones. “It doesn't matter what's happened in the past, I just want for him to come home?”

Kenneth is described as white, 6ft 2ins tall, with short dark brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black blouson style leather jacket with zipped front, black jeans, yellow and green trainers and he was carrying a small black/blue rucksack.

“All these years I’ve looked for Kenneth up and down Britain and I’ll never stop looking for him until I find out what happened to him,” Kenneth Jones’ aunt, May Dodds, said.

“If anyone knows anything please get in touch with Missing People. I just hope he is safe, healthy and happy and for him to let us know he’s okay.”

Allan Bryant was last seen on CCTV in the early hours of 3rd November 2013 outside Styx nightclub on Caskieberran Road. Allan, who has tattoos on both arms, was last seen wearing a t-shirt which is navy at the top, grey in the middle and white at the bottom, dark denim jeans and grey leather plimsoles. He is 5ft 6ins tall and was 23 when he went missing.

Allan’s father, also called Allan, said, “Someone must have seen Allan that night. Some of his friends were still present at the nightclub when he was last seen. My family just want anyone that knows anything to come forward. All it takes is one phone call to the police or Crimestoppers. It’s been three years now our family have suffered this pain. Please end this nightmare for our family.”

Ian Roullier, Publicity Coordinator at the charity Missing People added, “If Kenneth or Allan are reading this, please call or text us in confidence on our free phone number 116 000 to let us know you are ok. We can’t trace your call. We just want to provide you with the support you need and help you to be safe.”
