A FRESH wave of demonstrations against Donald Trump took place yesterday on the streets of the UK.

Hundreds gathered outside the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh to show their anger at the US President's executive order banning entry into the country for citizens from seven Muslim-majority countries, chanting "refugees are welcome here" and placards with messages such as "United against Hatred".

Thousands also took to the streets in London to call on Theresa May to end her "collusion" with Trump and withdraw the controversial state visit invitation to the US President.

The march, organised by the Stop the War Coalition, Stand Up to Racism and the Muslim Association of Britain, amongst others, set off from the US embassy in central London towards Downing Street on Saturday afternoon.

Protesters also brandished placards declaring "No to scapegoating Muslims" and "No to Trump, No to War", while they chanted "Theresa May shame on you".
