Peacefully, at home, on Tuesday, 20th June, 2017, surrounded by his family, Ian Collie, former Director of Education of Central Region, dearly loved husband of Helen, wonderful father of Mhairi and Rob, cherished father-in-law of Bill and Leonie and adored granda of Lachlan, Isbeal, Alexander and Jocelyn. An inspirational man of the hills. All family and friends are warmly invited to a Service of Thanksgiving at St Columba's Church, Stirling, on Friday, 30th June at 2.30pm and afterwards at the King Robert Hotel, Glasgow Road, Bannockburn.
