Tuesday 18: Liane Carroll, Jazz Bar 7pm
Volcanic singer who can whisper delicate blue notes as well as erupt with emotion, in a duo with her favourite pianist, Brian Kellock.
Friday 21: Graeme Stephen Trio with Aidan O’Rourke, Traverse Theatre, 8pm
Brilliantly creative guitarist explores jazz melodies, traditional music-influenced airs and electronic soundscapes.
Saturday 22: Fergus McCreadie Trio, Rose Theatre, 7pm
Pianist and Jazzwise magazine’s One to Watch in 2017, a restlessly inventive musician who draws on jazz styles across the board to create swinging, melodic and often impressionistic music.

The game-changers who bent the piano trio format into an entirely new shape play In Scotland for the last time with their original, Herald Angel-winning line-up.
