A MAN has appeared in court charged with murdering a 51-year-old man at a flat in East Dunbartonshire.
Kirk McIntyre, 49, allegedly killed Frederick “Ricky” McGettigan, who was discovered at the property in Clelland Avenue in Auchinairn, near Bishopbriggs, last week.
Mr McIntyre, from Perth, appeared in private from custody at Glasgow Sheriff Court yesterday.
He made no plea during the brief hearing and was remanded in custody by Sheriff Diana McConnell.
Mr McIntyre is expected to appear next week for a full committal hearing.
