HAMILTON Academical have confirmed that winger David Templeton faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a foot injury.
The former Rangers midfielder was taken off on the 52nd minute of his side's 2-1 defeat to Hearts last weekend and Accies revealed on Wednesday that he has broken his foot.
Templeton now faces up to six weeks out of action after a promising start to the campaign in which he scored one goal in eight appearances for Martin Canning's side.

The 28-year-old had previously considered retiring from playing after being plagued by injury problems, before signing a short-term contract with Hamilton last season that led to a new one-year deal this summer.
He was released by Rangers last summer after a 21-month long battle trying to recover from a knee injury and scored 27 goals in 88 appearances during his spell at Ibrox.
