Vehicle crash sparks closure of M8 motorway in Glasgow
A serious crash sparked the closure of the M8 on Christmas Day.
Traffic Scotland took to social media around 12:50pm to alert drivers of the closure of the eastbound section of the motorway at Junction 8 (Baillieston Interchange).
Drivers were advised to use an alternative route.
The motorway then fully reopened to road traffic around 2:50pm.
