London is home to hundreds of pubs with impressive beer gardens, and whether you have an old faithful or a summer hotspot, one has been named among the 'most beautiful'. 

The Ship in Wandsworth has been named among the UK's most beautiful beer gardens by Time Out.

The local pub is set on the banks of the River Thames offering perfect sun catching spots and late evening sun setting views.

Built back in the late 1700s, The Ship is most popular for its unique offering of its beer garden set right on the banks of the Thames and next to Wandsworth Bridge.

The Ship is not only praised for its unique location and beer garden but its 'Ship Sunday', with a roast dinner offering: "giant, double egg yorkies, crispy goose fat roast potatoes and mouth-watering gravy."

The local pub also offers weekly pub nights on Wednesday and disco nights with DJs for Saturday Night Fever.

Like any pub, food is a key priority for many pubgoers, The Ship describes its food as an "indulgent, premium dining experience in a relaxed pub environment."

Menu items include French onion soup, homemade parsnip gnocchi with toasted chestnut gremolata as well as chicken supreme and sausage and mash to name a few.

On the online review site Tripadvisor, The Ship has a rating of 4/5 with one fan praising the outdoor space: "Really nice pub with a beer garden next to the river."
