Blind man is robbed in home

A blind man has been robbed in his own home after being threatened with what is thought to have been a knife, police said.

The 49-year-old answered the door to two men and was pushed back inside his house in Craigmuir Place, in Penilee, Glasgow. After threatening him, the men left with money and jewellery.

Detective Inspector Craig Warren said: "This is a despicable and cowardly crime, carried out on a very vulnerable man."
