SEVEN Celtic fans are to stand trial next month charged with singing a pro-IRA song.

They are alleged to have behaved in a way that "is likely or would be likely to incite public disorder" by singing the song, the Roll of Honour, at Celtic Park.

Paul Duke, 38, and Ross Gallagher, 30, of East Kilbride; David Gallacher, 23, and Greg Robertson, 29, both of Glasgow; Christopher Bateman, 29, of Irvine; Sean Cowden, 22, of Rutherglen; and Kieran Duffy, 19, of Coatbridge, have been charged.

They are accused of singing the song at a Champions League qualifier between Celtic and Elfsborg on July 31, 2013.
